What this update means

The three headliners represent distinctly different generations: Die Toten Hosen return for their tenth Rock am Ring appearance, blink-182 bring Californian pop punk to the Ring, and Bring Me The Horizon embody the modern crossover of metal, alternative, electronics and pop.

Faith No More provide one of the biggest surprises. Mike Patton's band return for their first German shows in twelve years, appearing exclusively at Rock am Ring and Rock im Park. Parkway Drive, Evanescence, Billy Talent, Turnstile, Falling In Reverse and The Prodigy add more major names across metal, alternative, punk and electronic live music.

The rest of the wave is equally broad. Amon Amarth, Arch Enemy, Lorna Shore, Motionless In White, Bullet For My Valentine, I Prevail, Imminence and Orbit Culture cover multiple shades of metal, while Nothing But Thieves, Bad Religion, Simple Plan, Donots, Beartooth, Poppy, Trailerpark and Ski Aggu bring alternative rock, punk, pop punk and rap.

The day split is already available. Friday features blink-182, Falling In Reverse, Billy Talent and very special guest The Prodigy. Die Toten Hosen, Faith No More and Turnstile follow on Saturday, with Bring Me The Horizon, Parkway Drive and Evanescence shaping Sunday. Exact stages and set times have not yet been announced.
