Rock am Ring 2027 · 2027

Rock am Ring 2027 adds 24 acts; 10,000 tickets remain

Killswitch Engage, Pendulum, Jinjer and Sleeping With Sirens are the most immediately striking names in Rock am Ring’s second wave—but they are not the whole story. The festival has added 24 acts, bringing the confirmed lineup to 50. Die Toten Hosen, blink-182 and Bring Me The Horizon remain the headliners; beneath them, the bill is filling out fast. There is plenty here for fans heading to the Nürburgring for the heavier side of the lineup: Silverstein, The Devil Wears Prada and The Amity Affliction join Holding Absence, Novelists and Currents. From Ashes to New, Guilt Trip and SPEED are in as well. It is a wave rich in metalcore, post-hardcore and hardcore, but with enough different voices to keep it from reading like one long genre list. The other additions take the bill in different directions: Betontod, The Butcher Sisters and Clutch, alongside Alexander Marcus, As December Falls, Cenobia, Haywire, Highly Suspect, Mittel Alta, Showing Teeth and The Pretty Wild. Who plays when, and on which stage, is still to come. There are now 50 confirmed acts; there is no timetable yet. Tickets are part of the story, too. The organisers say more than 80,000 have sold, with 10,000 still available. Weekend tickets currently cost €269. After another 5,000 sales, the final tier begins: the last 5,000 tickets will cost €289, and no further allocation is planned.

Rock im Park 2027

Rock im Park reaches 50 acts with its second lineup wave

Rock im Park has added 24 acts, and heavy guitars are firmly at the centre of this wave. Killswitch Engage, Jinjer, Sleeping With Sirens and Pendulum are the biggest draws. They are joined by Silverstein, The Devil Wears Prada, The Amity Affliction, Holding Absence, Novelists, Currents, From Ashes to New, Guilt Trip and SPEED. That takes the bill to 50 confirmed acts, with Die Toten Hosen, blink-182 and Bring Me The Horizon leading the lineup. The selection does not fit neatly into one box, though. Betontod, The Butcher Sisters and Clutch sit alongside Alexander Marcus; As December Falls, Cenobia, Haywire, Highly Suspect, Mittel Alta, Showing Teeth and The Pretty Wild pull the bill in still more directions. For fans, the next practical question is who plays when. There is no answer yet: stages and set times have not been announced. Tickets are already a different story at the Park: more than 60,000 weekend tickets have sold, and all day tickets are gone, according to the organisers. Combined with Rock am Ring, more than 140,000 weekend tickets have now sold. Only 10,000 remain at the Nürburgring, where a weekend ticket currently costs €269; the final 5,000 will move to €289.

Music in Saalbach now starts on 3 December, a day earlier than in previous years. On Friday, 4 December, Roy Bianco & Die Abbrunzati Boys, Dicht & Ergreifend, Zebrahead and Punk Rock Factory are joined by Evil Jared x Krogi and DJs Arnim Teutoburg-Weiss, Dennis Concorde, Olde (Big FM) and the Ill-Rock-City DJ Team. Saturday brings together festival favourites and the mountain programme: Royal Republic, LaBrassBanda, Hecht and Guten A-Band share the day with Evil Jared x Krogi, DJs Arnim Teutoburg-Weiss, Dennis Concorde and Olde, the Ill-Rock-City DJ Team, Danny Donner and MC Blitzbeat. Asterisks mark Hecht, Evil Jared x Krogi and the Ill-Rock-City DJ Team for the Schattberg summit stage, around 2,000 metres above sea level and reachable for these shows only by gondola. The organiser says limited day tickets are available. The Thursday warm-up party is included with Friday day tickets and festival tickets. The day split does not include set times yet, and stages for the other acts have not been specified.
